Sonnet #59

I was tired of the cold,
it was lonely and dreary.
But now that the sun has showed
my face has gotten teary.
You said you'd be there
the last time I remember.
Tell the sun to beware
because come December
we're climbing the ladder to the sun
No matter how hard it gets
Now we'll see if your the one
my heart's still frost bit,
although the summer has arrived,
of love, I am still deprived....

The picture is how my inner expression would appear symbolic to my emotions.....

I am cold though at the moment I felt dark. Useless but the life of being a restless soul captivated me so. Afraid and this running. Running from the pass. Scared of the present. Hoping for the future to come from relaxtion and hurry. Hurry like a chicken with its head cut off. I'd been searching dearly for the exit. The stop sign to the blinking traffic light. One with a cracked lens that's been that way for weeks. Weeks I have felt weak. Somewhat like water only drying up at the center of the earth. So I wonder. As I've always have. Staring straight up into the air with yet another question unanswered. Strength, where? XOXO
